Lily kept her arms around herself, wearing a jacket, a sweater underneath, and a scarf yet she still felt cold. Rubbing her hands together she peaked her head forward and stared down at the train tracks. No sign of Samantha’s train yet but that was to be expected. She was early.
“Hey little brother can you put some lotion on my back. I don’t wanna get burnt.”
“Stop fidgeting Violet. He’s almost done adjusting them.”

With a savage punch Samantha flew backwards, bouncing off the ground and into the wall. Letting out a shout she rolled to her side slightly as the wraiths’ fiery form seemed to suck all the color from the warehouse. She could just barely see the open docks from the hole that she had created.
“So, Sam you’re calling me pretty early in the day. Shouldn’t you be in school? Actually, there’s two others. Are all of you skipping school?” Samantha’s captain asked through the speakers of the laptop.
