When sunlight glowed through the open window Feint grunted awake. As she groaned and pushed herself upward slightly she felt her hand against Phase’s chest. He was still asleep, lying against the bed. She looked down at him, his face peaceful and unconscious. She looked at his hair again and before getting up slowly.
“I know it’s been a long day folks but the battles are starting to wrap up. The final four of the tournament have been locked in. All that matters now is pride for winning this last chance qualified. Pride for your homes or for yourselves. We shall determine this starting with this match.”
