“Get up guys.” Feint said to the barely lit hotel room. No one was reacting but she knew they had heard her. She shook her head slowly and went first to push Yumi off the bed. She started and had to catch herself.
Shade and Feint were walking down the sidewalk together, for the most part in comfortable clothes. It was another grey day though the sun tried to come out. As they walked a cold breeze rushed over them both and it made Shade shiver. Feint didn’t feel it quite as acutely.
“Can you believe we had to go back to work so soon after a freaking invasion?!” Jeff said throwing a hand into the air. “Like there were actual killer robots in the city. And we’re gonna just keep doing corporate emails like that make senses. Not fair man.”

“We’re gambling a lot on this aren’t we?” Yumi said as she narrowed her eyes.
“Ready Cal?” Marco asked keeping a hand on his back.
“Where are you guys?” Shade asked from his apartment.
