“Hey Seth. Tom wants this sent out stuff recorded into the system,” Jeff said coming by his cubicle. He had his jacket over his shoulder and his bag in hand looking every bit ready to go home. “Might be one of those triplicate situations.”
“With the recovery efforts continuing the death toll is rising to an unprecedented thirty in what is being called the 51st attacks.”
Sarah stumbled forward, her feet dragging through the mist. She tried to look around but she couldn’t focus. Her head was pounding, her limbs hurt and her chest ached. She had never had a hangover feel as bad as this and she knew exactly why but she didn’t want to say it.
Red light raced across the ground like a laser pointer was dragged along the street. A line of explosions appeared along that line shattering windows and blowing cars into the air. A house collapsed drowning out the screams of the people trapped beneath them. Another streak of light moved across the street highlighting a path.
