Alec and Dio clashed in the middle of the arena, their swords grinding against one another’s. They each had their teeth grit together trying to overpower the other but not getting anywhere quickly. They were equally as strong as one another but that didn’t mean they were evenly matched.
Alec stepped away from Rosa once the match was called and glanced at his broken sword. He waved it back and forth lightly and shook his head. “Well that’s rough. But thank you for the match,” he bowed his head to her. “Gonna have to find a way to fix this thing.”

Alec had managed to hobble his way out of the hospital bed. His chest ached really bad from where he’d been hit by the staff. That thing was more solid than he had figured. He touched his forehead where he had been hit as well and winced. He touched the bandage wrapped around his forehead.
