Ryza’s eyes opened and at first she saw nothing but darkness and her heartbeat accelerated. She sat up quickly and let out a muffled cry as she sank back down. But as she looked properly her eyes adjusted. She saw the dark stone ceiling. She could smell the sheets, smell the fur, and the air.
The pair of wulves raced out of the eastern border of the city and transitioned to the desert. The First was a lot faster than Ryza had realized, almost like she was flying as she leaped across the dunes. Ryza wasn’t quite so graceful but she was able to keep up.

“There try to move it now.” Vincent looked up at the child sitting on the bed in front of him. He looked at Vincent and then down at his legs, one dirty with sand but the other ended early in a scarred nub. Surrounding the nub was a leather socket, a metal pylon, two rotators […]
“Finally clothes again,” Ryza said looking herself over. A black shirt with long sleeves. A skirt that went down to her knees and boots. They were comfortable to wear and more importantly the skirt hid her tail comfortably which she could work with. And a new bandana, red now that she could hide her ears […]
